Reta Vera Crenshaw

November 2, 1951 - March 2, 2026

Reta Vera Morgaridge Crenshaw passed away Monday, March 2, 2026. She was born November 2, 1951, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Alfred J. Morgaridge and Luella Morgaridge.

In 1969, she married Denny Lee Crenshaw. Their marriage spanned more than five decades, during which they weathered life’s ups and downs together and spent their retirement years side by side.

Around 1979, Reta and Denny moved their young family to Meno, Oklahoma. There they raised their son, Quinton, and daughter, Kanzeda.

Reta was an active parent and community member during those years. She was an avid leatherworker and enjoyed teaching others the craft. She volunteered as a 4-H leader and was known for loading up kids from Meno and nearby towns into her van for activities and outings, including memorable trips to professional wrestling matches that many still recall.

In her professional life, Reta worked in bookkeeping and management roles. Colleagues described her as dependable, capable, and an indispensable mentor. The respect and appreciation expressed by those who worked with her meant a great deal to her.

She also supported community giving efforts, including toy drives and other charitable causes.

Reta is survived by her husband, Denny Lee Crenshaw; her son, Quinton Crenshaw, his wife Tracy, and their children Ella, Callaway, and Elizabeth; her daughter, Kanzeda Crenshaw; and her sister, Frances. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred J. Morgaridge and Luella Morgaridge, and her brother, Archie.

Services will be held at Stittsworth Funeral Home in Enid, Oklahoma, on Friday, March 6th, at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission OKC in Reta’s Memory.
