Enid, OK – Leonardo’s Children’s Museum has been named a finalist for the 2026 Oklahoma Nonprofit Excellence (ONE) Awards in the Arts and Humanities category, presented annually by the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits (OKCNP). Leonardo’s is one of just 18 organizations statewide selected from nearly 19,000 Oklahoma nonprofits to receive this distinction.
“This recognition is incredibly meaningful for our organization,” said Charlet Ringwald, executive director of Leonardo’s Children’s Museum. “For over 30 years, Leonardo’s has served families through hands-on, curiosity-driven learning experiences. Being named a ONE Awards finalist, especially in the Arts and Humanities category, affirms the value of our STEAM focused exhibits and programs.”
The ONE Awards celebrate nonprofits across Oklahoma that demonstrate excellence in mission delivery, innovation, leadership, and community impact. Finalists are divided into six mission categories, and each receives $5,000, with category winners receiving $7,500. One organization will be named Oklahoma’s 2026 Nonprofit of Excellence and receive an additional $10,000. In total, the 2026 ONE Awards will distribute $115,000 to recognize charitable work throughout the state. Since the program began, the ONE Awards have awarded more than $2 million to over 200 Oklahoma nonprofits.
“Being named an ONE Awards finalist helps amplify the impact of our work,” said Riley Jantzen, director of experience and engagement at Leonardo’s Children’s Museum. “This recognition gives us greater visibility and helps us continue growing programs and creating meaningful experiences for children and families in northwest Oklahoma and beyond.”
Finalists were selected by the ONE Awards Selection Commission, a group of nonprofit and community leaders from across Oklahoma who evaluate organizations based on excellence in operations, innovation, leadership, and demonstrated community impact.
