The funeral service for Elaine Blasier, age 88 of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in the Anderson-Burris Chapel with Rev’s. Ron McCaslin, Dan Barrick and Jarrod Cloud officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Elaine was born August 2, 1937, at Perkins, OK to Clarence and Lennie Snider Bonebrake, and passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, in Enid. Elaine was the youngest of six kids, spoiled by all.
Elaine graduated from New Lima High School in 1955, salutatorian of her class. She played basketball in high school and was always ready to shoot hoops in the driveway. On August 20, 1955, she married Glen Blasier in Cushing, OK. Through their early married life they moved to various places because of Glen’s job in the oil business, moving to Enid in 1964. Elaine worked various places in Enid including S & Q Clothiers, Bob’s Cone Corner, Brentwood Preschool and finishing her career, working almost 20 years as the church secretary of First Assembly of God where she was a member since moving to Enid.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Glen in 2016. She is survived by her children, Kevin Blasier and wife Becky Sue of Enid, Rebecca (Becky) Blasier of Enid, and Kenneth Blasier and wife Sheri of Enid; four grandchildren, Ashley Byerly and husband Daniel, Stephany Cleek and husband Travis, Justin Blasier and wife Taylor, Tara Warner and husband Steven; and eight great-grandchildren, Kennedy Byerly, Gavin, Reagan, Sadie, Sydney and Shiloh Cleek, Stella Blasier and Lily Warner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Salvation Army.
