Funeral service for Robert Howard Lorenz, 85, will be Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 11:00 am in Anderson-Burris Chapel with Pastor Tom LeGrand officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Robert was born June 18, 1940 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Howard and Erma (Vogt) Lorenz and passed away November 7, 2025 in Oklahoma City.
He grew up in Enid and graduated from Kremlin High School. On November 1, 1958, Robert married Deana Kimmell in Enid, where they made their home. He worked for many years at 7up of Enid, later at Lake Country in Tulsa, where he retired. Robert enjoyed spending time at Keystone Lake, fishing, and quail hunting.
Robert was preceded in death by his great granddaughter, Skyler Varney; parents, sister, Janet Lorenz.
He is survived by his wife, Deana; daughters, Debbie and husband, Steve Varney, and Susan Lorenz; two grandsons and their spouses, Matthew and Sara Varney and Christopher Varney and Michael Logsdon; great grandson, Beckham Varney; brother and his wife, Michael and Velda Lorenz; other relatives and friends.
