Celebration of Life Service for Roy Fore, 82 of Enid will be Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10:00 am in Anderson-Burris Chapel.
Roy was born on July 13, 1943 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Ferrice and Lucille (Horner) Fore and passed away on August 16, 2025 in Enid.
He grew up in Oklahoma as his father worked in the oilfield. Roy worked in the oilfield for 22 years. On July 22, 1972, he married the love of his life, Cheryl Crain and they made their home in Enid. Roy worked in maintenance service for Buddy Nicholas for 25 years, retiring in 2015. He owned and operated Roy’s Mowing Service for many years.
Roy loved watching the OKC Thunder and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dale Fore; parents; brother, Jerry Fore; sisters, Pat Willingham and Janice Kirkland.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children, Shannon Nichols, Shawn (Carmen), and Tammy Fore; grandchildren, Ron Nicholas Jr (Valerie), Tanner Fore, Shelbi (Seth) Urbina and Zach Nichols; great grandchildren, Anna Nichols, Wallace Urbina and baby Urbina on the way; other relatives and friends.
