Charlie Awards
Gaslight Theatre’s version of the Academy Awards, Charlie Awards, are given in honor of Charles Norman Duff, a staunch supporter of the theatre until his death in 1971. Through a secret ballot process, play directors choose nominees and the final votes are cast by the boad of directors, lamplighters (volunteers of Gaslight) and season ticket holders. Additional awards are presented during the evening to men and women who show special dedication to Gaslight.
