Please be advised of the following rules and regulations that have been implemented over the years to ensure the safety of students, parents, and community members:

• North and south entrances to D. Bruce Selby Stadium will open to the public at 5:45 p.m.
• Express lane passes can be presented at the entrance behind the northwest ticket booth. Express passes include EPS (staff and student) ID, Enid Athletics All Sports pass, Retiree pass, EPS Gold pass, First Responders ID, Oklahoma Coaches Association ID, OSSAA ID, Military ID, and GoFan All Sports passes.
• Once a fan leaves, they are not allowed to re-enter.
• Elementary students must enter and leave with a parent/guardian.
• Middle school students must enter through the north gate with a guardian and will be seated on the northwest side of the stadium unless they are sitting with their parent/guardian.
• No loitering in the tunnels, ramps, or bathrooms in the stadium. The turfed area behind the west end zone is off limits to students and fans.
• EHS Band will play in the southeast corner of the stadium.
• EHS student section will be in the traditional northeast section of the stadium.
• Parking is available at EHS and on the west and south side of the stadium. Handicap parking is available on the north side of the stadium and two handicap spaces have been added to the south side of the stadium. Please do not park on the street on the north side of the stadium as it will disrupt the flow of traffic.
• There will be EPS, EHS and middle school administrators present at all times during the game as well as a full police presence.

Tickets to be admitted into the game are $12 for adults and $8 for students/children. Tickets purchased on the GoFan app are $9 for adults and $5 for students/children, plus fees. Employees have free admission with EPS ID card present. EPS Athletics also take retiree, OSSAA, OCA, GoFan All Sports passes, military identification, and first responders for free admission. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m.

Dr. Dudley Darrow, EPS Superintendent, expressed his excitement to share the home game with the Enid community.

“We are really looking forward to hosting our first EHS home football game against Lawton this Friday night,” said Darrow. “We always enjoy cheering on our Plainsmen with the community. Go Big Blue!”

Boys and girls teams in the first grade through the 12 th grade are eligible to participate in this four game-guarantee tournament July 12-14.

“This is the 26 th consecutive season that we’ve held a MAYB tournament in Enid,” said Enid MAYB tournament director Tim Swartzendruber. “This will be a premier event for youth teams to compete in.”

Originating in 1993, MAYB is now one of the largest youth basketball organizations in the U.S. Visit Enid partners with MAYB to help promote the event and ensure all participants a great experience.

The Enid tournament is part of the MAYB summer package where teams can either sign up for the four-tournament package or select individual tournaments. Each summer session concludes with the National MAYB Tournament. Boys Nationals are August 1-4 in Wichita, Kan., while Girls Nationals is August 2-4 in Oklahoma City.

There will be a skate competition for beginners and advanced skaters, with first, second, and third place prizes. Food and merchandise vendors will also be present at the event.

History of the Park

The Enid Police Department is scheduled to expand, which tasked City of Enid officials with finding a new home for the community’s skateboarders and wheel sports athletes. Rather than just relocate the modest collection of metal ramps, the City figured while they were at it, they might as well upgrade the skate park to concrete.

The new Skate Park puts Enid on the skateboarding map with a modern design from Spohn Ranch. Woven into a thoughtful flow, Enid’s skate park features a long spine, a curved slappy curb, and a circular manual pad.

The goal of the Be Fit Kids Buzz Run is to provide an opportunity for ALL young children of the Greater Enid area to participate in a fun event that promotes health and fitness.

Participants feel like professional athletes running on a track with a runner’s number secured to their event t-shirt. All participants cross the finish line and receive an event medallion. Ages 2 & Under through 5th Grade.

Everyone is invited to use the trails. The bike course not only includes trails but also has bridges and other obstacles. The more tires on the trails the better they perform.

The course has been built with the efforts of many volunteers. The City of Enid brought in dirt to help create the course. Marsau Enterprises donated a storage unit which was desperately needed by the organizers.

Get updates on the trail on their Facebook Page. Please do not ride when it is muddy. Watch for workdays and volunteer when possible. There is also a donation box on sight to help with expenses.

Rules and Regulations: walkers yield to mountain bikers, no horses, ride at your skill level and look at each feature before riding to determine if its within your skill level, and have fun sending it.

Oklahoma Earthbike Fellowship is a statewide membership organization dedicated to the enhancement of off-road cycling through trail advocacy, maintenance and cooperation with land managers and users.

They will have donuts in the morning and lunch is catered by Squire Logan – BBQ. Also, Wing Stop will be bringing out a bunch of wings of various flavors for the players.

They will have various games on the course including Enid Axe with its mobile trailer, longest drive, closest to the pin, and Dixon Golf will have 2 golf challenges – one on a par 3 and one on a par 5.

There is also a huge list of raffle prizes and silent auction items that will be available.

The Big 12 announced the game will kickoff at 6:30 and be televised by ABC. Both teams are 10-1 overall and 7-1 in Big 12 play. OSU is guaranteed a spot in the Big 12 Championship but their opponent depends on these scenarios:

If OU wins Bedlam, the Big 12 title game will be a Bedlam rematch

Football and basketball games are normally dubbed the Bedlam Series, but the term "Bedlam" actually began with the wrestling programs. It was the loud, rambunctious crowds that attended the matches held at Oklahoma State's Gallagher-Iba Arena in the 1940's that spawned the actual term.

Did you know that one of the most famous Globetrotters has an Oklahoma connection? Hubert “Geese” Ausbie joined the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team in 1961 following a standout college career at Philander Smith College in Little Rock (Pulaski County). For the next twenty-four years, Ausbie played for the Globetrotters in more than 100 countries and became known as the "Clown Prince of Basketball” for his entertaining antics on the basketball court.

Geese Ausbie was born in Crescent, Oklahoma, on April 25, 1938. He was one of eight children and the youngest son of Bishop and Nancy Ausbie. As a youth, Ausbie excelled in baseball, basketball, tennis, and track. He once scored seventy points in a basketball game for Crescent’s Douglas High School and helped lead Douglas to four straight Oklahoma Basketball State Championships.

Peak Fighting Championship (PFC) is a rapidly growing American Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion founded in 2018, primarily focused on showcasing professional and amateur fighters in the Southern U.S., specifically Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. The organization is known for hosting events that often include a hybrid mix of MMA, 4 oz Muay Thai, and bare-knuckle fighting.

This will be the first PFC event in Enid, and it takes place May 2 at the Stride Bank Center. PFC 52 will feature a lineup of professional and amateur fighters from Peak Fighting’s growing national roster. The event will showcase the heart, intensity and entertainment that have made Peak Fighting one of the fastest rising MMA events in the United States.
