Meadowlake Paddle Boat Rental & Hours

ENID, OK - Enid will have paddle boats again plus a brand new boat dock! They will open soon.

Regular hours will be Thursday and Friday from 6pm to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. They will be closed Monday thru Wednesday.

Tickets can be purchased at the Train Ride concessions window, Paddle Boat rental tickets will be $10.00 for 30 minutes. Paddle Boats will seat up to 4 people per boat.

Operation Of Boats Ordinance:

-
Nonmotorized boats only may be operated on the city operated reservations at Crosslin Park, Government Springs Park and Meadowlake Park.
-
1. Age Restriction: No person under the age of twelve (12) may operate any craft on city operated reservations. They may be a passenger of someone aged sixteen (16) or older with parent/guardian permission.
2. Boat Size: Boats must be less than fourteen feet (14') in length.
3. Safety Requirements:

a. Personal flotation device or PFD (life jacket).
b. All boats must carry one wearable USCG approved PFD for each person on board.
c. All passengers twelve (12) years and younger on boats must wear a United States coast guard approved PFD whenever the vessel is underway.
d. Life jackets must:
(1) Be United States coast guard (USCG) approved,
(2) Be in good and serviceable condition, and
(3) Must be of suitable size for the intended person, and approved for the activity.

4. Boating Hours: Boating hours are from sunrise to sundown. At no point shall anyone operate any craft on city operated reservations outside of daylight hours.

Other Water Ordinances:

It is unlawful for any person to fish from a fisherman's float in any city operated lakes or ponds. You also cannot swim or bathe in any of the waters operated by the city. You cannot wade into the lakes unless it is incidental to a lawful boat launching or boat retrieval. There is also no skin or scuba diving, except with the express permission of the city or during an emergency situation or salvage operation. And lastly, you cannot ice skate or sled on or over any of the waters of any city operated lakes.

Motorized boat owners are permitted to operate a boat at the city operated reservation located at the city service center, but only for the purpose of testing boats and motors. The operation of such boats at the city operated reservation located at the city service center are governed by the laws of the state.

    hope the paddleboats look like the picture, the old style yellow ones you could paddle all day and get nowhere.

    I remember the paddle boats you could rent at Meadowlake. It was good clean fun. Glad it’s coming back!

    Well found out by showing up on Sunday 11:30 AM and there’s no signs posted and no paddle boats in the water. So guess it’s not 7 days a week. Sure would be nice to know what days they operate…disappointed.

    I just moved back to Enid and found that this was going on. The paddle boats are amazing. And the kids loved it. Its an excellent priced event. And it gives Enid families something to do to where families don’t have to drive a ways to go get something. I spoke with the owner and he is very pleasent and he is very respectful. Kuddos to him and he has my appreciation for his services in the military. Excellent job done by getting this idea going. Deffintly will be doing it again with the kids.
