Get out to see the best Corvettes from around the region up close and personal. Choose your favorite as they are judged in several award categories including Best of Show.

The event begins at 9am and runs through 4pm. Judged classes include Class Awards, Presidents Choice, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine and Best of Show. Attendees will also be able to participate in a silent auction.

NON-club members in Enid area can enter their Corvette in the show.

Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for children under 12 and military in uniform get in free. Bring your camera and love of sports cars while enjoying dozens of Corvettes in one location. Money raised goes to local charities. 111 W. Purdue.

Featuring the Midnight Mafia Crew, a live rockabilly performance by Brian Dunning and the Hi Fi Hillbillies, from 10am to noon. Enid Brewing Company will be offering their signature brew along with food from Los M & P Mexican Food Truck.

Step back in time and experience life on the Cherokee Strip during History Alive! in the Humphrey Heritage Village. On the first and third Saturday of each month, the historic buildings in the Village come alive with reenactors who are tending their shops, working their trades, or socializing at the Village Church. Visitors can learn about different skills and trades of the time, or file their own land claim in the Land Office. The Village will be Alive! from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of the month.

The Enid Author Fest celebrates the region's literary talent, offering a chance to explore a variety of genres, engage with local authors, and even take home autographed books. It provides an opportunity for the public to support Oklahoma’s literary community and learn more about the authors contributing to the region's rich storytelling tradition.

Throughout the event, authors will be in the first-floor lobby signing and selling their books. There will be readings held for children, young adults, and adults. Attendees will also receive a free book bag while supplies last and will have the chance to win door prizes. The event features a wide array of genres, including mystery, historical fiction, fantasy, youth adventure, youth horror, and more.

Tri-State History

About eight or ten bands got together for the first Phillips Band Day in 1932. Band Day had drawn bands from Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas for the first event so it was unanimously decided to call the new event Tri-State.

In 1933 Enid had its first real Tri-State Band Festival. What began as a one day affair, as first planned, turned into a four day affair.

In 1934, Tri-State drew 6,000 band members to Enid. The town was bulging with kids. It was thought this was about the largest crowd that could be drawn, but this was outdone in the years to follow.

Enid High May Fete is a rite of passage for the senior class of Enid High School. It comes from an old English May Day tradition which celebrates the coming of spring. Enid High turned this tradition into a ceremony that not only welcomes spring but also honors the senior class each year. It began in 1915 and has changed very little over the decades. Students dress in their finest attire and walk as couples around Government Springs Park. There's music, pageantry, the May Queen, her Herald, and their Court. Throughout much of its history, the May Queen, Herald and Court were elected by the senior class.

The May Fete ceremony usually begins with the processional around Government Springs lake, the crowning of the May Queen and the winding of the May Poles. The processional begins with a color guard, the Queen and Harold and the Court attendants. It is then followed by the senior class, who walk along the sidewalk and over the springs arched bridge, then around the lake to the waiting crowd.
