    Enid Amateur Radio Club presents Enid Hamfest, on Saturday, September 20 from 8 am-3 pm at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center. Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a popular hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communication together. People use ham radio to talk across town, around the world, or even into space, all without the Internet or cell phones. It’s fun, social, educational, and can be a lifeline during times of need. Learn more about the world of ham radio, and perhaps even apply to become a licensed amateur radio operator. Admission is $10 at the door.
