HJR Showdown
Enjoy the HJR Showdown, a Lifted Truck and Auto Show in memory of Hayden J. Ryel. August 8 and 9 from 11am to 10pm at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center, 111 W. Purdue.
There will be trophies for the top trucks in both the Gold and Silver categories. If you have a show-worthy truck or just a nice truck, you need to purchase your ticket for the show. If you have a truck/auto you want to lift or improve, or are interested in learning about lifted trucks, there will be people attending who are eager to discuss how to customize and maintain them. There will be vendors and food trucks on site.
Stop by and walk around enjoying all the trucks, cars, and even a semi or two; spectating is free of charge.
The HJR Showdown is being organized by Shyla Miller, Hayden’s girlfriend, with support from family, friends, and the broader truck enthusiast community. Proceeds from the event will go toward establishing a scholarship in Hayden’s honor, ensuring that his legacy of kindness, hard work, and community service lives on.
