Honestly, there's almost always something to do in Enid if you just look around. Our mission is to keep you informed and remind you of all the great things there are to do in Enid America. We'll keep an ongoing list of weekend activities as well as a list of quick ideas in case you need a few weekend ideas.

Enid may not be as big as Oklahoma City or Tulsa but we have plenty of activities and events happening every month. Many people choose not to participate in local events but that does not negate the fact that they still happen.

If you follow our blog you know that there are some weekends we can't cover all of the events. Then there are other weekends, especially in the winter months that things may slow down. It's all a balance. We know that some organizations stay in contact so there are not too many happenings on the same day.

Unfortunately Enid does not have the large attractions that bigger cities have but we've got many fun things that other cities do not. Get out to Meadowlake and ride the rides. How many towns have their own park railroad, a Ferris wheel and carousel? Not many.

We at Enid Buzz promise that you can always find something to do if you just look hard enough. We would love to see more people volunteer and join our local organizations. We see the same 10% of the population organizing and participating in every event. We'd love to see that expand!

We live in a quiet little town with plenty to do. Of course there's more to do in the larger cities but that makes for plenty of family road trips. As fun as out of town trips can be, it's always nice to get back to Enid, Oklahoma.
