United North Becomes Cash Saver

ENID, OK - The signage for United Supermarket North came down on Thursday, October 20. The store will quickly be converted into a Cash Saver brand. The conversion should be complete by the end of October. The supermarket is located at Willow and Van Buren in the Northgate Center. As far as we know it will only be the north location being converted at this time.
-
The concept of the store is to have items on the shelves priced at cost, with an additional 10 percent added at the check-out counter. Other Cash Saver stores operate in Oklahoma City, Texas, Alabama and Tennessee.
-
When a customer goes to purchase an item, 10 percent is added to their total order. The additional 10 percent is shown separately on the customer’s receipt. The cost of a product is determined by the total expense it takes to buy the product and get it from the warehouse or supplier to the shelf.
