Tommy Dean Powell

A Celebration of Life Service for Tommy Powell age 68 of Enid will 10:00 am Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. David Reber and Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Tommy was born November 12, 1949 in Enid, OK to Glen O. and Emma Jean Anderson Powell and passed away at his home, Wednesday, September 05, 2018. He was raised in Enid where he attended school and graduated. Tommy married Donna Breitenkamp on June 26, 1969 in Enid.

Tommy owned and operated his own welding company. He was very creative and enjoyed making metal art and items for friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Donna of the home, two sons; Kelly Powell of Enid, Wesley Powell and wife Anna of Mustang, OK, three grandchildren; Brylea, Karlea, and Edison, brother Jimmy (Susan) Powell, sisters; Glenda Creason, Doris Dunn, Barbara (David) Jones, Patsy Dowers, and Kathy (Arnold) Yosten, sister and brother in law, Sharon Postier and Gary Brietenkamp, Sarah Powell and several other family members.

Tommy was a wonderful husband, father, papa, brother, and friend who loved his family more than anything. He was the first person to come and help anyone who needed him. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and going to the lake. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
