ENID, OK - Enid's first Un Run will take place July 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. during First Friday at the Brix, located in the 200 block of East Maple.

"The Un Run requires no actual running and the course is maybe about a block or two," said event coordinator, Tammy Wilson. "Of course, carb loading is important for these kinds of events, so there will be beer at the start and finish and a donut station to recharge in the middle. We will also have a first aid station for any major strains which will mostly just be beer."

Entry fee for the Un Run is $25 and includes a runner number, a t-shirt, two beers, donuts, and entry into the High Voltage concert after the run. For an additional $10, runners can also get a braggadocious sticker for their car, a Mired in Mediocrity Medal, and a ride across the finish line in style.

"We encourage you to bring your friends and family to cheer you on. There will be a prize for the person with the biggest cheering section," Wilson stated.

For those not participating in the Un Run, the High Voltage concert starts at 8:00 p.m. in the Breeze at 222 E. Maple. It is $5 and kids 12 and under are free.
