Sara Cunningham (Free Mom Hugs) To Speak in Enid

ENID, OK - Sara Cunningham author of the book, “How We Sleep At Night” will be sharing her story of being a loving mom of an LGBTQ child. She is the leading voice for faith parents of LGBTQ children. Sara is a powerful advocate and ally. She will share her emotional personal journey regarding her son’s homosexuality that took her life on a tailspin. After twenty years in the church and actively “praying the gay away” she was at a crossroads. Her search as a Christian woman found little resources for educating families. The rejection and the statistics she saw was more than this mother could bear.
