Roseann Barnes

The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating and honoring the life of Roseann Barnes, 71, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday January 31, 2019 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating. The Rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Wednesday January 30, 2019 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born January 1, 1948 in McAlester, OK. and at the age of 5 she was adopted by her parents Bernard O’Rourke and Betty O’Rourke. She passed from this life on January 25, 2019 in Oklahoma City.

She was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Enid High School in 1966. She then worked in retail for several years. She Married Robert Charles Barns October 17, 1970. The couple owned and operated R and B Escort Service for several years. She then worked as a care giver for Rescare and later Bios for over 10 years. She was a member of St. Gregory’s the great catholic church. She enjoyed putting records on and listing to music Sunday afternoons while she cleaned her house, having a conversation with friends over a cup of coffee, her dogs, gathering collectibles and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Regan Barnes and his wife Gaby of El Paso TX, Monty Barnes of Enid. Amber Powell and husband Mikkell of Enid, Ryan Barnes of Enid and Rhonda Andrews of Caldwell, Idaho. 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and brothers Robert, Ron and Joe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one Brothers and her husband of 30 years and one Grandson.
