PT Lounge Fundraiser for Arson Recovery

ENID, OK - Enid Event Company and The Barn are partnering to host a fundraiser on Saturday February 9 to help Preston and Beth Whiting recover from the complete loss of their business, the PT Lounge, that was destroyed by arson January 25. The Whitings used their savings to open the tavern in November.

Several local tavern owners have come together to host a pub crawl to raise funds for the Whitings. Participants will meet at The Cooker and visit several other establishments throughout the evening, including The Office, The Spot, Chandlers, and The Barn. There will be party favors, auctions, and a drawing for a grand prize at the end of the night.

"I know I would be devastated if this were to happen to me, as any of us would be, and we just wanted to make it easier for them in some way," said Jessica Walker, owner of The Barn.
-
"We do pub crawls throughout the year and Jessica approached me about putting one together for the Whitings and told me their story. I couldn't imagine if this had happened to my family and wanted to do what we could to help," said Tammy Wilson of Enid Event Company.
-
The pub crawl is $10 per person and all proceeds will go to assist the Whitings in their recovery from the loss of their business. Participants can sign up in advance on the Enid Event Company Facebook page or can pay at the door at 5pm on Saturday. For more information, call (580) 402-6732 or email info@enidevents.com.
