Enid is building its first new school in 50 years, and we need your help selecting a mascot!
Residents from 1 to 100 are encouraged to submit their best ideas for the search. Suggestions will be accepted February 1 to March 1, and all EPS students will have the opportunity to participate. The winning idea will be announced in May, and the school will open in the fall of 2012.

About the Search
Enid residents of all ages are encouraged to suggest a mascot for Prairie View Elementary School using the above forms.
Students and adults may include a drawing as a visual representation of their idea. (The submissions will be used to inspire the final mascot design, which likely will be completed by a graphic design professional.)
Suggestions will be accepted February 1 to March 31.
EPS school children will be given the opportunity to participate in the program at school. Each school will select three mascot suggestions to submit to Central Office for consideration.
Enid community entries can be mailed or delivered to Amber Graham Fitzgerald, Director of School and Community Relations, at 500 S. Independence, Enid, OK, 73701.
An online form can also be completed at www.enidpublicschools.org/mascotsearch
The winning mascot will be selected by the EPS administration/Board of Education and announced at the school’s ground breaking ceremony in May. The mascot character image will be revealed in the fall of 2011.
Please note: This is not a contest that will have a “winner” because many children or adults may suggest the same mascot. Instead, it is a way for the entire community to help select the best mascot for our newest school. A new school and a great mascot means everyone wins!
