ABC Park Renovation
Enid now has the only playground designed for kids with disabilities in northwest Oklahoma.
Dozens of volunteers gathered at ABC Park on Saturday to help put together new playground equipment that any child can play on — even kids in wheelchairs!
Many of the volunteers were members of AMBUCS and 4RKids. Additional builders were members of the public who showed up just to help.
The official grand opening of the new play area will be held at 9:30 a.m. May 21, followed by a Miracle League game. Phase two of the renovation project will kick off on that date as well.
