Northern's Failing Field
Turf Grand Opening
NOC Enid reached their $250,000 fundraising effort to upgrade Failing Field near the NOC campus. The challenge was to raise enough money to install artificial infield turf, much like that at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
NOC matched dollar-for-dollar donated funds up to $125,000 to achieve the total fundraising goal of $250,000.
The field can now be used for collegiate softball, various youth baseball events and may also serve as a practice facility during the NJCAA Division II World Series.
Northern Oklahoma College Enid will have a Turf Grand Opening on the Enid Campus, April 7 at 1:00pm. The NOC Enid Jets will then play at 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
