Homegoing Celebration for Nadine Johnson, 92 of Enid, will be Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11:00 am in First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Garland Hall officiating. Burial will be Saturday, November 24 at 1:00 pm in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, Enid.

Nadine was born on October 13, 1926 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Glen and Irene Davis Moore and went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 14, 2018 in Enid.

She grew up in Anadarko and graduated from Anadarko High School. Nadine married and had eleven children. She worked for many years as a cook at Enid State School. After her retirement, she became a foster grandparent. Nadine was a member of St. Stephen’s AME Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie; three sons, James Anderson, Rayford Freeman, and Jerome Freeman; sisters, Dorothy Floyd, Hortence Wilson, Vera Toles and Zelma Johnson; brothers, William and Nathaniel Moore and Jerven Toles.

Nadine is survived by her children, Samual (Dorothy) Johnson, Cassandra Robinson, Vera Bradden, Henry (Loretta) Freeman, Ruby Freeman, Carlas (Curvin) Tanner, Dorothy (Leslie) Hardeman; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren; special bonus children, Karen Holt and Stanley Dixon; sisters, Ruby Stewart, Shirley Bradley, Wanda Montez, Ruthie Jackson; many nieces, nephews and friends.
