Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse & Adventure Quest is open Tuesday—Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. We are closed on Mondays, although we offer special exceptions on certain Federal holidays. Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse is a hands-on arts and sciences museum located in downtown Enid, Oklahoma. It's fun for children of all ages!
Build in the Carpentry Shop, create your own masterpiece in the Art Studio,
observe our snakes, chinchillas and ferrets in the Animal Area and so much more
inside the converted warehouse. Learn while you play at Adventure Quest, the outdoor science park that's also one of the largest playgrounds of its kind in the world!

For amusement rides, enter Meadowlake Park off Rupe and turn left for
parking. Hours for the rides are 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday, 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 12:30 to 9 p.m.
on holidays.

Take a ride on the carousel, which is being restored by Enid Kiwanis Club.
Admission is $1.50 per person. Kiddie rides on cars and planes are 50 cents
a spin. Climb aboard the Kiwani Train, which circles the park. Admission
is $1.50 per person.

Need a break to watch all the fun? Whet your whistle with soda and water
at the train depot, hosted by the local Kiwanis and Lions clubs.

Meadowlake Park also has a lake to fish in, playground equipment,
a walking trail, a place to pitch horseshoes, and pavilions to lounge under.

To rent a pavilion for family gatherings or company parties, call
234-4000 ext. 313. Reservations, which are actually permits that guarantee
you the pavilion on the days you choose, range from $15 for small pavilions
and $25 for medium pavilions to $45 for large pavilions.

The park is closed to the public from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.

ENID BASEBALL - SOFTBALL

Enid Joint Recreation Triad
maintains a USSSA Sanction Enid Baseball League, summer program with the
intent of providing the children of Enid and the surrounding area an opportunity
to play organized recreational baseball without regard to race, religion, sex or
ability to play. An Enid baseball commission administers the summer league
and is charged with the responsibility of keeping the program operational with the children's best interest in mind. The program does not serve the egos of parents, coaches, or other adults. Youth ages 4 thru 14 can play EJRT baseball. Six

school. This coed youth organization is open without exception to all youth.
The Camp Fire purpose is to encourage the development of the whole child

The typical day for kids attending Kids Café includes playing outside, story time, computer games, lunch and shopping. On Friday, they learn how to perform CPR
and other first aid methods. Youth and Family Services provides life social skills
training as part of the program, teaching kids about anger management,
interpersonal communication and conflict resolution.
They pick up children from Booker T. Washington Community Center and take
them to Zoë, saving parents money and time.

The haunted warehouse will be open 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursdy through Oct. 31. It will be open 7 p.m. to 11 pm Friday & Saturday and on Oct. 31. Part of the proceeds generated will go to the Enid High School chorus, members of which will help
out with the 5,000-square-foot haunted warehouse. The cost is $10 adults and
$7 for 12 and under. It is not recommended for children under 12 unless they are accompanied by a parent.

The Youth Activity Center provides supervised before and after-school
care and a summer camp program for school-age children (who have
completed kindergarten through the end of the sixth grade). The school-age
program is open after school hours, during school holidays and summer
vacation for day camp. Vance Youth Programs offer developmentally appropriate activities, field trips, as well as nutritional meals and snacks. The Youth
Center also offers a teen council that meets and chooses activities for the
base's teens. Teen activities include field trips, lock-ins, dances and other
age-appropriate events. Drop-in care is $3.75 per child, per hour. Call
