The camp is being held in memory of long-time INTEGRIS Respiratory employee, Catherine Belair. After Catherine passed away in 2016, her family donated her memorials to the INTEGRIS Foundation to benefit the pulmonary and respiratory departments. Because Catherine had a dedication to children and to asthma sufferers, and had developed the first Asthma Camp that INTEGRIS offered, it was decided to use those memorials to host an annual asthma camp in her memory.
