ENID EVENT CENTER GRAND OPENING TO INCLUDE COUNTRY STAR GARY ALLAN ON JUNE 23
Enid Event Center has added another outstanding show to its grand opening activities as country music star Gary Allan and special guest Logan Mize will perform one show on Sunday, June 23 at 7 pm.
Tickets, priced at $32 and $42 with a limited number of VIP GA tickets at $77, will go on sale on Friday, May 17 at 10 am by calling 855-TIX-ENID or online at EnidEventCenter.com.
“Gary Allan is someone country music fans know and love,” Keller Taylor, general manager of Enid Event Center, said. “Having Gary Allan join Cirque Musica as part of our grand opening celebration will give Enid and area residents two different types of shows they will be excited about.”
Enid Event Center construction began in early 2012. The 73,000 square-foot facility managed by Global Spectrum has a seating capacity of over 3,000 for concerts like Gary Allan. Other grand opening events include the facility’s ribbon cutting on June 12, the Enid Chamber Business Expo on June 15 and Cirque Musica on June 27.
With the allure of a modern day outlaw, Gary Allan has sold over 7 million albums and released five platinum and gold albums in a row including two that made their debut at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. His most recent album SET YOU FREE made its debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 (all genre album chart) and #1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart. Allan has topped the radio charts with five #1 hits including “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain),” the epic “Watching Airplanes,” and has nearly a dozen Top 10 hits to his credit. He has earned the respect of his peers and has toured with the likes of Keith Urban, Brooks and Dunn and Rascal Flatts; and as a headliner, Allan has sold out venues from coast to coast.
Special guest Logan Mize is from Clearwater, Kan., about two hours north of Enid. In 2012, Logan’s second album, Nobody in Nashville (released on Big Yellow Dog Music), charted to No. 49 on Billboard Country Albums and No. 15 on Billboard Heatseekers Albums. The singer-songwriter has shared stages with boldfaced names like Lady Antebellum, Eric Church, The Band Perry, Billy Currington, Pat Green, Stoney LaRue and the Charlie Daniels Band.
