Enid dogs will soon have something to bark about when the new dog park opens in Crosslin Park. The park is directly east of the ballparks on 3.13 acres. The park is divided into two areas, one for small dogs and one for large. Small dogs will have about two-thirds of an acre of space, and large dogs approximately two and one-half acres.
Each dog must be accompanied by its owner, who is responsible for the animal and must clean up after the animal. The park is an area for dogs to run and play either with their owner or by themselves or with other dogs. No aggressive dogs will be allowed and all dogs must have city tags to enter.
The Crosslin Park Dog Park opens May 29th. A ceremony will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vendors representing various pet businesses in Enid will be present and hot dogs, pardon the pun, will be available.

Where can i get city tags for my dog?
*Dog License
Bring your proof of rabies shot to the police department – 301 W Owen K Garriott – along with the fee ($5.00 not spayed/neutered, $2.00 if spayed/neutered). The license is good for one year.
What if we don’t live in the city limits? What do we do about a tag?
I’m just wondering what if you have two big dogs and one small dog couldnt you take your small dog in the large kennel as long as you watch her very close around the large dogs? im curious will you get in trouble for that?
Hey Samantha, not sure of the answer to that. You might contact the City of Enid and ask.
Out of city limits? $2-$5, buy a tag, contribute and have fun.
Big and small dogs together, owner accepts full responsibility.
Am I an official? No, but use common sense and be responsible, contribute…all rules apply. If something happens, your responsible. It’s easy-and inexpensive, so just do the same as others.
