Supreme Court of Oklahoma¶1 This was an original proceeding in this court by the Billings Hotel Company et al. against the city of Enid, on the relation of H. O. Glasser, city attorney, and Jas. B. Cullison, judge of the district court of Garfield county, to prohibit the defendants from proceeding in a certain case pending in the district court of Garfield county wherein the city of Enid, on the relation of H. O. Glasser, city attorney, is plaintiff, and the Billings Hotel Company et al. are defendants. The petition in the district court alleged the defendants were operating a "booze joint" in said Billings Hotel, and maintaining a nuisance and a place where liquor was bought and sold, and the city prayed for an injunction to enjoin the defendants from maintaining said nuisance.
the writ of prohibition was dismissed.

"February 1939: The University Hospital again is under the direction of Dr. S.N. Mayberry. The ownership of Baptist Hospital Association has been terminated by legal proceedings. Located at 501 W. Randolph, this institution has long been associated with the development of northwest Oklahoma having been founded in 1908 by Drs. S.N. and Ed A. Mayberry. Dr. Mayberry expects to align the training school for nurses with Phillips University." |

Convention Hall (now called Mark Price Arena)
In 1919, Milton C. Garber, then mayor of Enid, and his commissioner aides, G. W. Pancoast and Jason W. Butts, proposed a bond issue for the construction of a building to memorialize the efforts of Garfield County soldiers in WWI.Sealed bids were accepted until Sept. 1, 1919 on bonds of $250,000 for the construction of the convention hall. The building was constructed at a cost of $500,000. The hall is four stories tall, has two balconies: the first of which holds 995 people and the second 667 people. The floor measures at 109 feet long by 67 feet wide, and can hold 600 people. The ceiling is 40 foot high and the stage measures at 37 feet wide and nearly 30 foot long. The basketball arena in Convention Hall was renamed in 1993 to Mark Price Arena is named after basketball player Mark Price who played for Georgia Tech and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
