After enjoying a very warm winter Enid finally had a good accumulation of snow, enough that schools are closed. Very high winds hit Enid late Sunday night and caused minor damage in areas of town. Besides the loss of tree limbs and anything that was not tied down, the high winds knocked down the Hibdon Tires sign on Van Buren. More winds are expected today as a cool front moves through the state.
