Enid Young Professionals Form New Partnership

ENID, OK -  March 23, 2017 -- Enid Young Professionals announced that the organization will now be affiliated with the Enid Regional Development Alliance. The group was previously associated with the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce.

The transition was formally announced during Enid Young Professional’s March membership event on Thursday.

Kegan Tuohy, EYP president, said the move is the right decision for the organization.

“We are looking forward to our new partnership with the Enid Regional Development Alliance and the opportunities that come with it,” Tuohy said. “The mission of ERDA aligns with the goals of our organization and we feel this is the best decision for us as we move forward.”

Brent Kisling, Executive Director of the Enid Regional Development Alliance, was the featured speaker for EYP’s membership event and commented on the transition.

“ERDA is excited to support the Enid Young Professional’s organization in their efforts to serve the Enid area,” Kisling said. “Our office has partnered with EYP on things like our Summer Internship Program and look forward to other opportunities to involve them in the growth of our community.”

Tuohy also expressed his appreciation for the support of the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce.

“We are extremely grateful for the support the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce has provided our organization over the past seven years,” Tuohy said. “EYP would not be what it is today without the Chamber’s help.”
