ENID, OK - Chisholm Trail Broadcasting has launched two new radio stations simultaneously. A new radio tower was built in Bison and both stations run off the same tower. The stations launched in December 2018.

The new 97.7 KHRK, called The Hawk, plays 100 percent pure classic rock from the Rolling Stones to Stevie Ray Vaughn to Led Zeppelin. From vinyl to tape to digital these songs have stood the test of time. Learn more about the station at https://977thehawk.com.

The new 106.3 KWOF, called The Wolf, plays pure country, meaning authentic, true country music like Garth, Alan Jackson, George Strait and Johnny Cash. Learn more about the station at https://1063thewolf.com.

General manager, Sandy Daniels, said both new stations have their own apps that you can download to your phone. Download the app and you can listen to the music while you're on the go from anywhere.

For those driving in their vehicles, the stations can reach from just south of Crescent all the way north to Ponca City. On clear weather days songs can be heard as far west as Woodward, Daniels said.

A big hire for Daniels was recruiting long time radio personality, Frank Baker, to return to the air waves. Baker will return to the air on The Hawk working the 3:00pm to 7:00pm shift. Baker has no plans to leave his current positions at Eagle Marketing and E-Town. He plans to start no later than February 1.

Daniels is on the lookout for other local radio personalities to help man the new stations. She's also looking for a crew to create a new morning show.
