ENID, OK - Enid Christian Bookstore, a locally owned business, has announced on their Facebook Page that after 45 years they are going out of business. The Christian based store has been a mainstay in Enid for decades.

The post online stated that, "We have been blessed to have been part of your lives, and it is with a heavy heart we must close."

Many local residents bought their first bibles from the business. They specialized in uplifting books, crosses, pictures, videos and church supplies. You could even pick up faith based greeting cards as well as special gifts.

News of the closing shocked many online. Most were sad while another tagged a friend and asked, "What are we going to do??? There is not going to be a reason to go to Enid anymore!"
