Hey Buzz,
I think it was in the 200 block of north Grand (same block as the 1st National Bank), east side of the street, north of the alley.
But I could be wrong,
Wess
I am pretty sure Wess is right. It was open when I was in High School and I know it was in that area.

Found my diploma and transcript -1960 – and there is no address but I believe they are right about the location. It fits what I remember. Fun to see the old Bldg. Mr & Mrs George ran/owned the school.
Does anyone happen to remember the first names of Mr. & Mrs. George?
I realize you asked this question last year but I saw one of my classmates from Enid High School (Wess Gray) and also decided to respond, albeit very late.
I attended Enid Business College in 1973 and graduated in 1974 and from there went on to Phillips University in Enid.
Wess is absolutely correct, I attended class in that old building for two years.

Thanks for the info Ron.
The building shown is the one in which ENID BUSINESS COLLEGE operated when I went to study there in 1964.
The owners were James Elmo George and Pauline George. After them who owned the college for several years was James Elmo George, jr. whom, I think, sold the college sometime in the 1980. I am the grandson of James Elmo George, born in Ecuador, South America. I am still living in Ecuador. I am very proud of having studied at Enid Business College and I am a CPA in Ecuador, profession which I have practiced since 1968 up to date.
Thanks for the additional info Howard!
I graduated from EBC in June 1957. The location mentioned is correct. The building is no longer there. The school was upstairs and had at one time many years earlier been a hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. George were Elmo and Maurine. Elmo was actually JUNIOR. His father, the originator of Enid Business College was Senior. He occasionally came to the school…white hair and white beard…very dapper.
Elmo and Maurine were there every day and were very involved. They were ‘no nonsense’ types but could be funny.
Thanks for the info Pat!
Would Mr. Howard Neal George please get in touch with Ruth Walker ruthwal@aol.com? He wrote to this site Oct. 25 about the Enid Business School. I am a cousin-in-law of Pauline George and have wanted to contact some of James Elmo’s family for years. I hope this is not outside your restrictions. If so could someone who has his contact information forward this to him. Thank you. Ruth Walker, Picayune, Ms.
HI Ruth, did you try the email he used to set up his comment? pichuflin@gmail.com
