ENID, Okla. - We've got more eatery news! Enid has many new restaurant choices and a few eateries have relocated or upgraded their locations. One of those that has moved to a new location is El Carnitas Mexican Grill.
-
El Carnitas Mexican Grill is a locally owned restaurant by Francisco Chávez and his father Javier Chávez. They have been in the food business for the past 13 years. People may know them from their earlier days as the Big Red Food Truck parked outside of Club 30 for a while, then it transitioned to catering for the great workers at the Koch Nitrogen Plant.
-
Their previous location was 1520 N. Grand in the prior Fat Cats and Grand Slams building. The Chávez family is now opening at 217 E. Owen K. Garriott previously known as Elmer's BBQ. The larger location allows for more seating capacity for you and your family to sit and dine-in.
-
El Carnitas Mexican Grill's specialties are Carnitas (fried pork) made Michoacán style, but they offer a wide variety of foods for you to choose from. You'll be able to enjoy authentic Mexican food like tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, taco plates, as well as a more expanded menu than was available at their location on Grand.
-
They invite everyone to give them a try, and know you will not be disappointed! They will be giving a free ice cream cones away for anyone that joins them for their grand opening this Friday, July 29th from 10:30am to 9:00pm.
-
Regular business hours are Monday's, Wednesday's, Thursday's, Friday's, and Saturday's from 10:30am-9pm, Open Sunday's from 9am-3pm. Tuesday's they will be closed. 217 E. Owen K. Garriott Rd. Enid, OK. (580) 603-1737.
