One is for the Enid Buzz Project and the other is for day to day operations as explained below. Our wish is that the information that we provide to you is sooooo valuable that you’d be willing to pay for it. If that’s the case, we’d like to give those that can, the chance to donate!! If just half of our audience would donate $1 a month ($12 for the year), we’d be able to have more contests, spend more time tracking stories and could concentrate more on improving Enid Buzz.

Why Does Enid Buzz Need Donations?
Probably your first question. Simply put, it takes many hours to find pictures, write stories, search history and keep everyone updated on the latest happenings in Enid, Oklahoma. Because we are an independent, family owned business, we do not actually get paid by anyone for doing any of this. Also, because we are not connected to a city newspaper we do not have subscriptions to sell.
The only form of revenue that we currently have at EnidBuzz.com is the selling of ad space on our website. And because we are entrepreneur friendly we do not charge high rates for any of our advertising which means we do not make a huge amount of income from ad sales. We would love to have fewer ads rather than more ads to keep the website going. The intent of asking for donations is not to make us rich but rather to give us an opportunity to provide you with the best website, history and information possible on Enid, Ok.
We love working on Enid Buzz, finding vintage photos and writing stories about locals. As much as we have the passion to do this we cannot sustain growth and the future time involved without some type of financial backing.
Why Would You Donate To Enid Buzz?
Another great question you may be asking yourself. The only reason we would want you to donate to Enid Buzz is because you enjoy reading our updates, you like being informed on what is happening in Enid and you feel like we taught you something about Enid that you had never known. If we’ve done any of that for you and you would like us to keep it up we would appreciate a small donation of any amount.

We assure anyone that donates that their money will be used to help improve EnidBuzz.com. A portion of any donation will be used to help us pay bills like any other business owners and the rest will help improve the Buzzhead experience. With more donations we can have better contests, give away more free stuff and spend more time researching stories. Having cash on hand also helps us purchase vintage Enid photos, memorabilia and old artifacts.
