Curtis Foster Named EHS Basketball Coach

ENID, OK - Enid Public Schools has announced the hiring of Curtis Foster as the new head varsity boys basketball coach.
-
Coach Foster brings a wealth of experience that make him uniquely qualified to lead the Plainsmen basketball program. Highlights of his playing and coaching experience include:

· He is an Enid High graduate, who was an outstanding basketball player during his time as a Plainsmen.
· He was an outstanding basketball player at Phillips University under Coach Denny Price.
· While at Phillips University, he was named the Phillips University Outstanding Athlete of the Year.
· He has been involved with the Enid youth basketball program for many years and has a great relationship with the local basketball community.
· He has previously served as a college basketball assistant coach and scout.
· He served as an assistant coach for the Oklahoma Storm Professional Basketball Team (1998-2003).

A team meeting/press conference will be held Friday, April 20 at 2:45 p.m. in the EHS Food Court. Members of the media and the Enid basketball community are invited to attend.
