Crime Stoppers: August 3, 2017

ENID, OK – On September 5th, 2016 Officers with the Enid Police Department responded to 318 S. 7th at Cherokee Terrace Apartments in reference to a shots fired call. When the Officers arrived on scene they located an 11 year old juvenile male who had been shot in the hand.

Witnesses on the scene stated that a white male was standing on the corner of Cherokee and 7th and was wearing a red hat and red shirt. Witnesses stated that the white male then began firing shots at the apartments and struck the juvenile male. Witnesses stated that the white male then ran away from the scene.

Anyone having information that will lead to the arrest or prosecution of the crime or any other crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 233-6233 or go to the website, www.enid.org/police/crime_stopper_tips.asp and submit a tip anonymously.
