Clemson Wins The National Championship

ENID, OK - Monday night's NCAA National Championship Football Games was a rematch of Alabama vs. Clemson. Alabama had defeated Clemson 45-40 last January. Clemson defeated Alabama 35-31 on a 2 yard touchdown pass leaving only 1 second on the clock.

The state of Oklahoma can be proud to have all three of our major universities in great bowl games this year. There are 41 bowl games leading up to the College Football Playoff national championship game.

The University of Tulsa played Central Michigan in the Miami Beach Bowl on December 10. Tulsa scored a victory with a resounding 55-10 win.

Mason Rudolph passed for 314 yards and three touchdowns and No. 13 Oklahoma State's defense smothered No. 11 Colorado in a 38-8 Alamo Bowl victory Thursday night that gave the Cowboys their fifth 10-win season in seven years.

The University of Oklahoma dominated Auburn in the Sugar Bowl. OU won 35-19 with Auburn scoring on the last play of the game. Joe Mixon became OU's single-season leader in all-purpose yards.

Alabama will play Washington and Ohio State is set to face Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinals.
