Enid Event Center is proud to announce Cirque Musica is coming to Enid on June 27 as part of the grand-opening celebration of the new downtown facility. Be a part of Enid history and make plans to attend this family friendly event.
Enid Event Center construction began in early 2012. The 73,000 square-foot facility managed by Global Spectrum has a seating capacity of over 3,000 for shows like Cirque Musica.
UPDATES: Cirque Musica is proud to announce the collaboration with Enid Symphony Orchestra to provide the local talent to accompany the 10 principal artists on tour with Cirque Musica.
Global Spectrum’s Keller Taylor, General Manager of Enid Event Center, commented that the local collaboration is one of the key components of making this a great event. “Having 10 world class principals on tour with Cirque Musica along with the fantastic local support of Enid Symphony Orchestra will make for an exceptional level of live music quality. Combined with the exciting circus acts, Cirque Musica is truly for everyone!”
Cirque Musica is also introducing a collaboration with Debbie Gibson, the 1980s pop icon who has starred in multiple Broadway shows and is the youngest artist to write, produce and perform a #1 single (Foolish Beat) on the Billboard Hot 100.
TGC Productions, producer of Cirque Musica, says Ms. Gibson will compose two new original songs for the new touring circus-style show, which performs with a full symphony orchestra. Traveling with the show to perform her new numbers is up and coming new talent Ali Isabella, a 2012 top 100 selection of The New Music Seminar’s ‘Artist On The Verge’ chart.

Cirque Musica features top circus performers from around the world performing in an over-the-top arena spectacular. The show features the “clown of clowns” David Larible who has headlined circus in arenas and theaters across Europe and is making his triumphant return to the United States where he previously was the headliner for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. In addition to David Larible, Cirque Musica will feature the world famous Wallenda Highwire Duo, the thrilling España Family and a cast of world-renowned performers.
Cirque Musica will feature a LIVE symphony orchestra on stage: the inclusion of a live orchestra for a show such as this has never been done before and will introduce audiences to a whole new entertainment experience. Prior to this tour, Cirque Musica has been performing in symphony halls across the country, a concept that is now expanded to create a truly mind-boggling, sensory arena spectacular.
The musical repertoire features world favorites from the classical cannon including Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee, Violin Concerto in D Major by Tchaikovsky, Gustav Holst’s The Planets, as well as orchestral POPS features, including a salute to some of the best rock acts of all time. Cirque Musica also features original music composed by Emmy and Academy Award-nominated composer, Marcelo Zarvos.
