More about the Champlin home:
Champlin Mansion

The Champlin home was built in 1938 by H.H. Champlin. The home was built in Kisner Heights by the Bass Construction Company.

The home was originally to be built with face brick and stone trim. Once Mr. Champlin saw the stone he opted for an all stone home rather than the face brick. The sandstone was quarried in Ohio using a rock face method which gives the home its distinctive look.
