Cafe Garcia Won't Change Under New Ownership

ENID, OK - Cafe Garcia opened their doors in 2004 and have become one of Enid's top Mexican food eateries. Tina and Romiro Rodriguez have moved on to other ventures but have left the restaurant in good hands.

Long time cook, Sandra Salcedo, and partner Jose A. Camarena have purchased the business and don't plan on making any immediate changes. Salcedo will continue to make everything from scratch in-house including marinating and carving the meat to mixing fresh guacamole every day.

In celebration of the new ownership the restaurant will be having a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 5:00pm on Friday, December 1. As part of the Grand Re-Opening they will also be having drink specials all evening in addition to a 10% discount on your meal from 5:00pm to close if you mention this article.

Salcedo said she has always wanted to be a business owner and is looking forward to bringing new ideas to the restaurant in the future. At this time she plans on continuing to cook and retain the same staff. Camarena will be on hand to help run the day to day business side of things.

The menu remains unchanged and their open salsa bar continues to provide plenty of selection. Drop by this Friday for a free basket of crispy tortilla chips or order their one-of-a-kind queso.

Cafe Garcia is a casual restaurant that features a wide selection of authentic Mexican and Cali-Mex fare. It features a large dining room and a beautiful outdoor patio. The menu includes customer favorites like fajitas, chicken fajita quesadilla, carne asada tacos and fish tacos.
