STILLWATER, OK - The kickoff time and television information for the Bedlam football game on November 27 has been set.
The Big 12 announced the game will kickoff at 6:30 and be televised by ABC. Both teams are 10-1 overall and 7-1 in Big 12 play. OSU is guaranteed a spot in the Big 12 Championship but their opponent depends on these scenarios:
If OU wins Bedlam, the Big 12 title game will be a Bedlam rematch
If OU loses Bedlam and Baylor loses to Texas Tech, the Big 12 title game will be a Bedlam rematch
If OU loses Bedlam and Baylor beats Texas Tech, the Big 12 title game will be OSU vs. Baylor
Football and basketball games are normally dubbed the Bedlam Series, but the term "Bedlam" actually began with the wrestling programs. It was the loud, rambunctious crowds that attended the matches held at Oklahoma State's Gallagher-Iba Arena in the 1940's that spawned the actual term.
