Anna Elizabeth Wells

Anna Elizabeth Wells, 18, died June 25th at OU Medical Center, after sustained on life support two days awaiting surgery for organ donation. She was struck Saturday evening while riding her bicycle. Anna made the decision earlier this year to be an organ donor and though we grieve losing her, we’re thankful that in death she remained consistent in her strong value of giving just as she had throughout her lifetime.

Anna was born on February 6, 2000 in Vancouver, Washington, the daughter of Brenda and Jeremiah Wells. Anna moved with her mother and brothers to the Enid area in 2007.

Anna deeply loved her family and friends, as well as her two cats Athena and Odessa. She was always authentic and passionate about anything she chose to do. Anna would have been a senior at Drummond High School and was enrolled at Autry. She looked forward to her summer job at Tropical Smoothie.
-
Anna was survived by her mother Brenda Wells, brothers Joshua and Luke, aunt and uncle Robyn and Bill Honeycutt, grandparents Gayle and Jesse Tapp and many other family members and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father.

Anna’s celebration of life will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Enid, where she was a member, on Monday July 2nd at 11:00am with graveside services at Billings Union Cemetery at 3:00pm. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday 5:00pm, to 7:00 pm at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
