Scare On The Square - Enid 2009
Scare on the Square is asking anyone that lives and/or works in Enid to please talk to your place of business and see if they would be interested in having a booth downtown or if they would like to be a sponsor. Booths are needed so the kids will have places to trick or treat. There is NO booth rental cost other than bringing candy to hand out.
Scare on the Square is put together with donations from the community and elbow grease. This event does not have a large sponsor so they depend on the community to help in putting it together.
There's plenty of time to build a float! See if you can't challenge a competitor to see who can make the best float for the parade! Stick your business name on the float and do a little advertising!
There is also a city wide Scarecrow contest. All you need to do is place a scarecrow in front of your house or business and let Scare on the Square know where it is. Judging will take place Oct. 28th so there is still plenty of time.
This will be the 7th year for Scare on the Square - please help and keep this fun tradition going for the kids of Enid!
