Big 4th of July Weekend in Enid
Friday night begins this fun filled weekend in Enid, Oklahoma! Tonight is First Friday downtown. The Square will be full of food, music, shopping and fireworks. See the First Friday post below.
Baseball games are at 3:15, 5:30 and 7:45 p.m. Following the final game, there will be a fireworks display. Admission is $5 for adults, free for children in a little league hat or shirt and free for military personnel with ID.
Participants can take part in a picnic dinner featuring Advance Food Co.'s pub burgers, grilled boneless pork chops and more for $6.

Saturday will continue with more great July 4th events at Meadowlake.
Fishing begins at at 6 a.m. at Meadowlake as the 27th Liberty Federal Savings Bank Fishing Derby starts. Tagged fish caught will be worth $5. There will be a biggest fish winner and anyone catching a fish will receive a ticket for a free soft drink. There will also be hot dogs and popcorn available.
Many kids games will also be taking place so bring your kids to enjoy the fun.
The Enid Symphony Orchestra along with Leona Mitchell will begin at 8:30 p.m. and continue until the annual city of Enid Fourth of July fireworks program at around 9 p.m.

Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse will have its annual Hometown July 4 at the museum.
Adventure Quest opens at 9:30 a.m. for members and 10 a.m. for non-members. Games will include turtle races (bring your own turtle), three-legged races and gunny-sack races.
Admission is $2.50 each for members and $5 each for non-members, good for all day at Leonardo's and Adventure Quest. The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m., but Adventure Quest will remain open until 8 p.m. A lunch concession stand will be available, or those attending may bring a picnic lunch and eat in the picnic area.

Oakwood Country Club will be having games by the pool and Hamburger Hill throughout the day Saturday for members and their families. As a reminder, there will be no annual fireworks display at Oakwood this year.
