I remember spending hours and hours and hours rehearsing and dancing in recitals at Briggs Auditorium, with the Mary Alice Stalcup School of Dance! Couldn't wait to grow up so I could be in the 'big girls' senior dressing room, but by then we were using the Enid High stage. Great times.
Well, my girls are now taking from Mary Alice and they are back to using Briggs for their recitals. We just had ours two weeks ago there and Mary Alice announced her retirement which shocked everyone. I will have a post on that story later.
When were these taken? I have many memories of that campus in the late 60's and early 70's. Tri-State, etc.
Shaggy D,
I can't place the location of the second post card, is there any indication that is listed?
Thanks,
Wess
The only thing I know about the second postcard is that it is supposed to be the Campus Store, Post Office, Student Center and Campus Cafe.
Very interesting . . . thanks for posting these.
The second one looks a little bit like the east entrance to the boys dorms. Maybe?
