Granny's restaurant on N. Van Buren where Realty III is now. Went on many dates there in the mid to late 70's.
I remember that being Minnie Pearl's Fried Chicken. (am I mistaken? I was only 11 or 12)
Three towers-was my uncle Bob's restuarant. I was sad the last time I was in town to see what it had become.
A&W
Wagon Wheel
Holland House
Ken's Pizza-They had the BEST pop ever.
My sister and I use to work at Sir Victor's Fish n Chips. We also use to frequent Chances R with our mom when she worked at Safeway in Sunset Plaza. They had little telephones at each booth that you picked up when you were ready to order. My sister and I also use to work at Hacienda Hernandez when it was open. Three Towers was a family tradition. When my Uncle Lewis came to visit from California we always ate there, I think he knew the owner?? Those were good times.
