Having grown up in Enid America some of my first memories were of watching in fascination the T38 Talon streaking over the city. I was an instant aviation enthusiast. I remember the more frequent visits by the Thunderbirds in their different guises. F4, T38, F16. Ahhh the sound of the F4, but that's a different story. I'm glad to see that Enid is hosting a large air show. I will be travelling all the way from Colorado Springs to witness the event. Enid should be proud of finally hosting such a large air show. An event that takes me back to my youth. Enid rocks!! Colorado Springs may offer it's scenic beauty. But Colorado folks do not match the warmth of the people I remember back in Enid. I'm proud to be Oklahoma born and raised.
