Could this be the Lincoln Academy, or was this from an earlier time in Enid?

It is interesting.....in the 2001 Enid High Alumni Association Directory it indicates very clearly that both graduated in 1898....Orville Cunningham and Lou Garber.
In the 2005 Directory, it reflects that Orvil Cunningham graduated in 1897 and Louis Garber graduated in 1898. I also noticed that Cunningham's first name was spelled differently in the two publications, as well as Garber's first name was Lou and then Louis.
I apologize for copying this, but I think this info is very interesting. This is from the 2001 EHS Alumni Directory....
"The first high school classes were held in a Baptist church across from the Central Building in the 300 block of East Cherokee Street. Shortly after, students moved to the Central Building until increased attendance forced the school board to make yet another move.....this time to the opera house on Broadway Street near downtown Enid. As the community flourished, a new building was completed on North Independence Street to house high schoolers. (This building became known as the Lincoln Building.)"
Forgive me, but I coppied this from: http://forums.delphiforums.com/enidhighschool/start
Thanks for the info!
