Have been asking around about what the building is that was standing where the Library is now.
So far, people have said,
Where the records were kept for the court house, The old main Post office, or the YMCA.
Just a few of the replies that have come up.

I saw a photo at Pastimes and it says it was the Federal Building.
I was also sent info about the public library as follows:
In 1963
construction of the new library building began on the site of the old Post Office.
