Thanksgiving Feasts
The Salvation Army will serve Thanksgiving lunch from noon until 2 p.m., at 220 W. Pine. Reservations are not required. Families and individuals are invited.
Knights of Columbus will have its Thanksgiving dinner at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church’s Leven Center, 110 N. Madison, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday. All those in need or those not wanting to eat alone are invited.
The First Baptist Church, 401 W. Maine, will have its Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Our Daily Bread is offering an alternative to turkey by serving a carry-out style meal of tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, rice and beans from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day from La Salsa, 1732 S. Van Buren. La Salsa owner Gerardo Aguirre, along with members of the Enid Fire Department will serve about 1,000 meals to benefit Our Daily Bread.
